Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking a Principal Chartered Structures Engineer to lead and manage the Structures section, ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with policies, legislation, codes of practice and contractual requirements.
The post holder will act as lead officer for all structural matters, overseeing inspections, assessments, monitoring and maintenance of council assets such as bridges, retaining walls, pedestrian subways, disused coal tips and reservoirs.
