The predicted salary is between 25272 - 25272 £ per year.

Contract type: Permanent, 21.5 hours per week

Working pattern: Flexible working schedule, to be discussed at interview. Shifts are typically between 7:00am to 3:00pm or 11:00pm to 7:00pm. The role is worked on a rota basis across Monday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays.

Salary and enhancements: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, Band 2: £25,272 per annum, pro rata, with enhanced pay rates for Sunday and Bank Holiday hours, including an additional payment of up to 83% of the basic hourly rate.

Location: Marie Curie West Midlands Hospice, Solihull.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience or knowledge of working within a catering department or kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Awareness of health and safety requirements in the workplace.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Strong customer service and presentation skills.
  • Flexible approach to work and working patterns.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Basic Food Handling Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality (or willingness to work towards this qualification).
  • Experience working within a healthcare setting.
