About the Role

As a Casual Driver, you will

  • Safely operate and utilise curtainsider vehicles to complete multi-drop delivery schedules.
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps and other securing devices as needed.
  • Ensure timely deliveries and collections, meeting our client's requirements and maintaining high standards.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence or Class 2 C Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
  • Competitive Salary

Hourly rate of £17.20ph. This includes holiday pay.
