The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a full-time LGV CE / HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver to work for our established client based in Castleford (WF10) on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering regular work, competitive pay, and enhanced rates for specific elements of the working day.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing bulk cement deliveries nationwide, typically making deliveries throughout the week. While previous tanker experience would be advantageous, it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

What's on Offer?

  • £15.33 per hour plus holiday pay accrual
  • Overtime paid at time and a half
  • Double time paid for early starts and other qualifying working hours
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Start times typically between 05:30 and 06:00
  • No nights out
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity with immediate starts available

Driver Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid LGV CE / HGV Class 1 licence (new passes welcome)
  • Possess a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have no more than 6 penalty points
  • Successfully complete a driving assessment
