Pay: 3 days in the office / 2 days from home
Training: Full training provided (initial programme may last up to 10 weeks). During training, attendance is office-based 5 days per week.
Security clearance: Basic SC clearance required (Costs covered by the hiring process).
If you're detail-driven, comfortable handling sensitive information, and want to support a process that matters, our client is hiring Case Assistants to help deliver the efficient administration and processing of security clearance applications. This is a friendly, structured role with training provided - ideal if you're looking for a clear path into a responsible, customer-focused operation.
What you'll be doing:
- Working as part of a team to carry out full reviews of vetting applications, including identity verification and information checks.
- Responding to enquiries and obtaining additional information from vetting subjects, sponsors, and other stakeholders via email and telephone.
- Handling sensitive customer information securely and confidentially at all times.
- Delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service while learning and applying the end-to-end vetting process.
- Supporting colleagues and applications through appropriate actions and interventions.
- Moving between different administrative duties as required to meet business needs.
- Making impartial, well-reasoned decisions in line with process requirements.
- Working at pace to meet targets without compromising quality.
What you'll bring:
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality-first mindset.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with an organised, professional approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive information securely and consistently.
- Experience using bespoke IT systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to maintain consistency under pressure.
