Salary: £28,836 - £30,558 per annum, plus up to 40 days +The King’s Trust program at Carshalton College is seeking a Learning Mentor - someone to support and mentor learners with a mental health or medical condition, disability, or learning difficulty, or other support needs to help them successfully access the curriculum and complete their course.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has experience of working successfully with young people in a supporting/mentoring role.

Your experience will have given you excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a good working knowledge of the support needs of young people with a mental health or medical condition, disability or learning difficulty.

We’d also like you to hold a Level 2 qualification in English/Literacy as a minimum and a Level 1 qualification in Maths.

Closing date for the return of a complete online application is 2nd September 2026The benefits package includes 27 days annual leave plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health.

This leave is all in addition to Bank Holiday entitlement.
