Your new role

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a flagship housing development in Carnforth. Working closely alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the development, helping to ensure the project is completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the high-quality standards the business is known for.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day management of site operations
  • Coordinating subcontractors and trade packages
  • Monitoring health & safety compliance across the development
  • Supporting quality control inspections and customer care standards
  • Ensuring work is delivered in line with programme requirements
  • Assisting with NHBC inspections and quality audits
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Driving high standards of housekeeping and presentation across the site

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience working within a Site Management or Assistant Site Management role
  • Experience within new-build residential housing developments
  • Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety legislation
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a site team
  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
