Employee Services Assistant (HR/Payroll) x3

We are looking to recruit three Employee Services Assistants to join a busy Employee Services Team, providing essential HR and payroll administration support.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong administrative skills and experience working in a fast-paced HR, payroll, or office environment.

You will play a key role in supporting a range of HR and payroll processes, ensuring employee records are maintained accurately and enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across HR and payroll functions.
  • Maintain and update employee records and systems accurately.
  • Prepare correspondence, contractual documentation, and reports.
  • Respond to employee and manager enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Retrieve, analyse, and summarise data as required.
  • Support payroll calculations and related processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection requirements and client standards.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within an HR and/or payroll environment.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using databases and business systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.

Knowledge of HR/payroll processes and employment terms and conditions would be advantageous. A relevant administration qualification or equivalent experience is expected.

CIPD Level 3 or CIPP qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Welsh language skills would be beneficial.
