We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a young lady who is deaf & blind and has learning disabilities based in London, SW18 area.
Must have a qualification in British sign language

About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care.
After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £19.50 per hour
This position involves an average of 20 hours per week, including day shifts and waking night shifts. Shift patterns are:
- 8am until 3pm – Monday to Sunday
- 3pm to 10pm – Monday to Sunday
- 10pm to 8am – Monday to Sunday
- Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
- Support with personal care
- Support with nutritional intake via Gastrostomy
- Support to maintain a safe environment
- Administering medication when required
- Supporting with our clients sensory needs and regulation
- What We’re Looking For
- A qualification in British sign language
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Good communication skills
- A genuine desire to support others
- Basic IT and record-keeping skills
- Must have a qualification in British sign language
- Experience supporting people with a learning disability and challenging behaviour would be an advantage but not essential.
