Immediate starts available for experienced carers in the Chesterfield area!
We’re looking for experienced Care Assistants to join a extra care service where each resident has their own flat within the building. The care provider delivers a \"community-style\" service entirely on-site, offering the same level of personalised support you'd expect in traditional community care - without the need to travel between homes.
Residents are semi-independent, but your role will include personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids. Care is delivered through a mix of scheduled service calls and ad-hoc visits, all within the same building.
If you're looking for a fresh opportunity that offers ongoing hours, a supportive team, and the feel of community care without the commute,
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Full up-to-date CV
- At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
*Please note that we do not offer sponsorships*
This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate
We have Full and Part Time hours available with usual hours being 14:00 to 22:00 on various days from Monday to Sunday
You will be paid £12.71 per hour with an enhancement to £16.90 per hour for unsociable hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00.
