Our growing care agency is seeking dedicated Agency Support Workers to join our team in St Fagans. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.

  • Support individuals to access community activities, appointments, education, employment, and social opportunities, promoting independence and wellbeing.
  • Assist with mobility and moving and handling tasks in accordance with training and best practice, ensuring individuals are supported safely and with dignity.
  • Respond appropriately to behaviours that may challenge, using a calm, positive, and professional approach to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 6 months' UK-based experience working as a Support Worker.
  • Experience with, or confidence in, supporting individuals who may present with behaviours that challenge.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine commitment to improving people's lives.
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to work across a range of shifts and locations as required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative and sound judgement to respond to individual needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
