This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
HR Business Partner to join a well-established corporate organisation on a long-term temporary contract.
Working as part of a professional HR team, you'll provide expert advice across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with managers to deliver high-quality HR support, manage complex employee relations cases, and support people-focused initiatives that improve employee engagement and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive day-to-day HR support to managers across the business, delivering practical people solutions and HR best practice.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, and performance issues.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with UK employment legislation.
- Coordinate and deliver key HR activities, including performance management, learning and development, wellbeing initiatives, and occupational health processes.
- Produce, maintain, and analyse HR reports, KPIs, and employee data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Support organisational change projects, restructures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing programmes.
- Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders, providing trusted HR advice and guidance across the organisation.
- Support HR projects and contribute to the ongoing development of HR processes and policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, or similar generalist HR role.
- Strong experience managing employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience working within a corporate, professional services, public sector, or large organisational environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
CIPD Level 5 qualification or above, or working towards this, supported by relevant HR experience.
- Happy to work on-site Monday to Friday, with occasional flexible home working where appropriate.
