Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) - Water Safety
To undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to include, DCWS Stored Water Temperature & Condition Assessment.
CWST Inspection.
CWS Consumption Assessment.
DHWS Temperature Generation.
Storage Calorifier Inspection.
Cl02 Dosing Plant Function check.
Sentinel/Distribution Monitoring (CWS, HWS, Return Temperatures, and Residual Cl02).
TMV Servicing.
DWS Sampling (legionella & pseudomonas primarily, though not exclusively) Dialysis Plant Function checks.
Hydrotherapy Pool Plant Function checks.
Manual Flushing.
Shower Head & Hose Replacement.
AHU Inspection & Clean.
Drinking Fountain & Ice Making Machine maintenance.
DWS Biological Sample collection.
Some of the above listed tasks will be the primary duty of Water Hygiene Assistant Operatives, however circumstances might require the support of the Water Hygiene Technician.
To attend on Maintenance Requests related (though not exclusively) to Water Hygiene requirements to include.
Investigative, Fault Finding and Corrective Work relating to Water Hygiene Temperature Compliance failure.
Installation of Water Hygiene controls (TMVs, isolations, NRVs, strainers, temperature balancing valves, taps).
Repair or replacement of Water Hygiene controls (TMVs, isolations, NRVs, strainers, temperature balancing valves, taps).
Diagnostic and corrective response on Water Hygiene plant failure.
DWS Biological Sampling interpretation and resolve.
DHWS Pasteurisation.
To attend, assist or work alongside approved contractors, external agencies of interest, Risk Assessors/auditors, or other departments within Estates.
To attend at any of the C&V Health Care properties in the above capacity.
To work comfortably within a Team, whilst being sufficiently confident to work in a Lone capacity as task and requirements dictate.
To attend additional hours (overtime) as would be reasonably acceptable.
To adhere to legislative requirements, C&V policies, and the C&V WSP.
To communicate, feedback and record as required.
To maintain the required level of training.
