Our client, a reputable family-run car workshop in Beckenham, is seeking a professional and motivated Car Valetor to join their team. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within the automotive industry.
Competitive hourly rate between £13.50 and £15, based on experience and skills.
Full-time permanent position with PAYE employment options. Flexibility to discuss self-employment arrangements if preferred.
Working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.
Friendly, family-oriented environment. Opportunity to work outdoors as a Car Valetor, performing vehicle washing and detailing.
Duties:
- Perform vehicle washing, valeting, and detailing to a high standard.
- Ensure all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, presentable, and ready for customer collection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop area supporting the Car Valetor duties.
- Assist with light vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, supporting the overall presentation standards of a Car Valetor.
Requirements:
- Valid driving licence with a maximum of six penalty points.
- Previous experience as a Car Valetor, Car Cleaner, or in a similar role preferred but not essential.
- Ability to undertake outdoor work and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle presentation and cleaning standards.
