Summary

We are seeking a Planning Policy Officer to join our established and supportive Planning Policy Team within the Planning Service, working across Cannock Chase District. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Town Planning Institute West Midlands Planning Authority of the Year 2026 and to play a key role in the ongoing development of our service, supporting managers and leaders across the local authority. You’ll be at the heart of a varied and rewarding workload, helping to deliver high quality services to our communities. You will be contributing to an ambitious agenda as we support both councils through the evolving local government landscape.
