We are looking for an experienced, reliable female carer to provide early morning support for a local client. The role involves assisting with personal care and morning routines. We would also like someone who can provide holiday cover for another carer (Monday–Friday) on an ad-hoc basis.
- Attending to all personal care needs (showering, toileting)
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Assisting them in accessing the community, going shopping, going for a walk, and participating in groups such as the Dementia Café
- Moving and assisting - pushing manual wheelchair
- Household shopping and collecting prescriptions
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individuals to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
About you: We are looking for someone dependable, caring, and flexible, with relevant experience in personal care.
Days and times: 16 hours over Saturday and Sunday; these hours are flexible to suit the candidate.
Hourly rate: £14.45
