About the Role
As a Maths Lecturer, you will
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inclusive maths lessons.
- Teach students across a range of qualifications, including GCSE and Functional Skills (A Level experience is desirable).
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners to achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment that promotes achievement and wellbeing.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Participate in college events, tutorials, parents' evenings and professional development activities.
About You
You will have
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards one.
- Experience of teaching mathematics in Further Education, Secondary Education or a related setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve excellent outcomes.
