Our English team work with our learners to enable them to achieve their potential through the delivery of Functional Skills and GCSE lessons. Our learners are often enrolled on other college courses and are often anxious about their abilities. This is a real opportunity to help our learners in developing an understanding, and hopefully love, of English including how to apply principles in relation to their course and everyday lives.
We pride ourselves on our approach to the work-life balance of our team and actively support job share and flexible working opportunities. Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
