Bus Systems and Technology Specialist (Hybrid/Remote)
Bus Systems and Technology Specialist (Hybrid/Remote) needed in North Yorkshire, £395.23 per day PAYE - Reference: RQ1767699
Work can be done remotely in the first instance but as the work develops there will be a need to spend occasional days working at the head office in central York.
- You will ideally have -
- Significant knowledge of bus service systems and technologies, as set out below.
- Significant experience of working with systems and technologies for a bus industry employer, for either for a local transport authority or a bus operator.
- Significant experience of working on complex and fast-paced systems and technology delivery projects, managing several workstreams at once.
- Good experience of working with systems and technology specialists within local authority delivery teams and across a range of system and software
These systems will include, but not be limited to
- real time passenger information systems and screens, including live performance monitoring, historic reporting and links to traffic signal bus priority.
- printed timetable production systems.
- online timetable and journey planning systems.
- ENCTS user database and card production systems, as well as proof-of-age card systems for Under 19s.
- Commercial ticketing assets including smartcard vending kiosks, sales terminals and associated back office and banking systems.
- bus contract management systems; and
This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
