We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their friendly and fast-paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy logistics operation, liaising with multiple sites, stores, and customers to ensure a first-class service is delivered at all times.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and internal systems.
- Communicate with various customer sites and departments to resolve queries efficiently.
- Handle customer issues, complaints, and service challenges professionally and effectively.
- Investigate problems, identify solutions, and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Liaise with stores, transport teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Accurately document customer interactions, queries, and resolutions.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Carry out data input and administrative tasks whilst ensuring attention to detail at all times.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and office code of conduct standards professionally.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Training: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (first 2 weeks)
Shift Pattern: To be discussed. Must be flexible to work across 7 days, including weekends, evenings, and holidays where required. Enhanced rates available for weekend work and overtime. Please note: Holidays are not permitted during peak business periods (for example, December).
Skills & Experience:
- Previous customer service, customer support, or logistics administration experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to handle complaints and challenging situations professionally and calmly.
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
