Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

Based at our Bury St Edmunds (Higham) office in Suffolk, you’ll be joining Aran, part of M Group Energy - an industry-leading provider of retrofit and energy efficiency solutions.

With a strong reputation for quality and delivery, Aran is focused on raising standards across installation projects while improving the comfort, cost of living and sustainability of UK homes.

Please note: The office is located in a rural village a few miles outside of Bury St Edmunds, with no access to public transport.

You’ll need a reliable way to travel to and from the office.

This is a fully office-based role.

We do not offer hybrid working, so you must be able to work from the office five days per week.

What will you be doing?

As a Technical Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the compliant delivery of in-house energy efficiency projects, from survey stage through to installation.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate plans, costings and documentation to ensure all works meet regulatory and PAS requirements, while supporting smooth delivery across teams.

This is a detail-focused, coordination role where you’ll work closely with operational teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and compliantly.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Reviewing survey data and producing installation-ready documentation
  • Creating detailed plans of work, including tasks and resource requirements
  • Developing quotes and cost breakdowns for asset works
  • Compiling rate cards for labour and task-based costing
  • Creating and validating material kit lists to support accurate stock allocation
  • Supporting compliance processes by verifying installation and evidence documentation
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and internal delivery teams
  • Supporting commissioning documentation for ventilation systems where required
  • Maintaining project trackers and records using Microsoft Office tools
  • Undertaking occasional site visits to support technical understanding
  • Keeping up to date with changes in retrofit, insulation and renewable standards

  • Knowledge of asset works and in-house installation measures
  • Understanding of CDM legislation
  • Experience allocating labour time and task planning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
  • A professional, proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
