Job Responsibilities for the MET Technician role
- - Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) repairs on accident-damaged vehicles.
- - Analyse repair orders and complete all work to the highest quality standards, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- - Remove, repair and refit vehicle components in line with manufacturer specifications.
- - Carry out strip and fit work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- - Complete all repair work in accordance with job instructions and established bodyshop processes.
- - Ensure all quality control procedures are followed before vehicles are returned to customers.
- - Obtain authorisation for any additional parts required before fitting.
- - Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- - Ensure all equipment is operating correctly and report any faults promptly.
- - Comply with BS10125 standards and all Health & Safety procedures at all times.
What you'll need to be considered for the MET Technician role
- - Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally with 2β3 years' experience.
- - Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim repairs within a bodyshop environment.
- - The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- - Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering repairs to the highest standards.
- - Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points.
- - Right to work in the UK.
