An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 4 Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to join our friendly and dynamic Physiotherapy team, working across both Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Breast Care services.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy care, working alongside Physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will independently manage delegated aspects of patient care within agreed competencies, assisting patients with rehabilitation programmes, exercise prescription, education, and pre & post-operative recovery.
This varied role offers the opportunity to develop specialist skills within both MSK and Breast Care pathways while contributing to improving patient outcomes and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver delegated physiotherapy interventions under the guidance of registered Physiotherapists.
- Support the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Assist in the management of pre & post-operative orthopaedic and breast surgery patients.
- Educate and motivate patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and patient experience activities.
- Support the safe and effective running of clinics and therapy areas.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
