Healthcare Assistant NICU | East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust

An exciting opportunity has arisen on The Neonatal Intensive care Unit (NICU) for a band 3 HCA to join our team to work alongside and support the nursing team.

This will involve working with sick and pre term neonates and their families within the hospital setting.

The role with involve working day and night shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Full training for the post will be given.

\The role will involve providing safe, personal and effective care for Sick and pre term neonates in the special care setting of NICU

You will support and educate families in preparing them for taking their baby home.

You will have the family at the centre of the baby’s care and support close and loving relationships with the baby and the family.

You will need to communicate at a high standard with members of the multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure seamless care is provided.
