Key Responsibilities
- Undertake building surveys, inspections, and condition assessments across the property portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with partner organisations to maintain building safety and compliance standards.
- Support the delivery of capital projects in conjunction with the Project Management Office (PMO) team.
- Provide professional advice on property maintenance, refurbishment, conservation, and development projects.
- Act as Contract Administrator for a range of construction and maintenance projects.
- Undertake the role of Principal Designer in accordance with CDM Regulations where appropriate.
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, procurement documentation, and project reports.
- Manage project budgets, programmes, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful delivery.
- Liaise with planning, conservation, and other council teams regarding property-related matters.
- Contribute to the effective management of heritage assets, including Grade I and Grade II listed buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
- Support the management of commercial and industrial property assets.
