What skills and experience we're looking for
An ARB is for children with a range of individual needs as detailed in their Education, Health and Care Plans.
No day is ever the same in Poppy Class, we all learn something new with and from one another.
We have a superb team of experienced staff and equally amazing pupils and together we enjoy a wide range of learning experiences.
Our children have a wide range of complex additional needs including autism, speech language and communication needs), general developmental delays and physical and medical needs.
Intimate care is also required by some of our pupils.
Lunchtime and breaktime supervision will all be a requirement of this role.
We welcome applications from those who are pro-active and flexible in their working practice as well as those able to ‘think-on-their-feet’.
We are seeking to appoint three Teaching Assistants.
Two positions are for 26 hours per week, and one position is for 32.5 hours per week.
The roles are term time only, plus two INSET days, and are offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027.
The proposed interview date is 24th August 2026.
