Hours: Part time (16 hours) and Relief opportunities available.
Salary: Earn up to £27,960.08 per year pro rata (pro rata salary of up to £11,470.80 per annum). A pay approach that recognises your value - from day one and beyond. After successfully completing your probation period, your hourly rate increases to £13.75 (£27,960.08 pro rata). We recognise the responsibility of this role and have chosen to build in a clear and guaranteed pay progression - reflecting the commitment, skill and consistency it takes to do this job well. It’s one of the ways we aim to support a more sustainable and valued social care workforce.
The role focuses on making a real difference, supporting with areas such as self-neglect, isolation, mental health and improving his home environment. You’ll play a key part in building his self-esteem and confidence, helping him engage with community activities, develop social skills, and understand positive and appropriate relationships. Every day brings the chance to empower someone to achieve their potential – what could be more rewarding?
This part-time role offers 16 hours of support per week, providing a great opportunity for work-life balance. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional hours and overtime across other Ark services, giving you flexibility and the chance to broaden your experience.
