We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join a busy recycling facility in Broxburn (EH52).
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with early finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort recyclable materials including paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, and metals.
- Operate recycling equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect materials to remove contamination and ensure quality standards are met.
- Load and unload recyclable materials from vehicles and containers.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work environment.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Wear and maintain the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report equipment faults, safety concerns, or incidents to supervisors.
- Assist with general housekeeping and site maintenance.
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
