Are you an experienced Motorcycle Technician seeking a new opportunity in Brockenhurst, Hampshire? Our client, a well-established family-run motorcycle dealership with over 50 years of service in the New Forest area, is looking to recruit a skilled Motorcycle Technician to join their reputable team. This is an excellent chance to work with a variety of motorcycle brands, including renowned manufacturers specialising in sport, touring, and adventure bikes, within a dealership committed to quality and high standards of customer service.

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
  • Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 – 12:00

Duties of the Motorcycle Technician role:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on motorcycles and light vehicles
  • Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake and tyre inspections
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose issues
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Managers regarding vehicle status
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Assist with technical development through ongoing training and hands-on experience

Requirements for the Motorcycle Technician position:

  • NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair or similar qualification
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)
  • Motorcycle driving licence advantageous
  • Ideally, a Class 1 & 2 MOT Testing licence (training may be provided)
  • Experience working with reputable motorcycle brands is preferred but applications from NVQ qualified individuals at Levels 1, 2, and 3 are welcome
