Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Van Drivers / Furniture Delivery Drivers to join our client’s delivery team.
The role involves delivering flat-pack furniture directly to customers’ homes, working alongside a dedicated 2nd Man to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a company van to deliver furniture to residential addresses.
- Working alongside a 2nd Man to load, unload and deliver items into customers’ homes.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
Working Pattern
You will work one of the following schedules:
- Sunday to Wednesday
- Wednesday to Saturday
Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm
A 1-hour unpaid lunch break is provided each working day.
Overtime is paid after 10 hours worked.
£13.00 per hour PAYE
£17.33 per hour overtime rate after 10 hours worked
