This is a practical, hands-on role working as part of an established depot team. The successful candidates will assist with the removal, preparation and installation of train interior components.
- * Fitting seats and interior panels
- * Removing and stripping existing interior panels
- * Assisting floor fitters when required
- * Cleaning work areas and carrying out general housekeeping duties
- * Using hand tools and equipment safely
- * Following task instructions, risk assessments and safe systems of work
- * Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- * Working closely with supervisors and other members of the depot team
Candidates must successfully complete a rail-standard medical and drug and alcohol screening before starting the assignment. Full depot induction and task-specific training will be provided. Workplace and specialist PPE will also be supplied where required.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview.
