The Role
You will be working for a well-established food wholesaler, delivering pre-packed orders to a range of customers including:
- Restaurants
- Hotels
- Bakeries
- Delis
- Other food businesses
The role involves multi-drop deliveries, with routes varying from day to day. Some routes may involve around 10-15 deliveries across a wider geographical area, while others may cover more local/city routes with 30+ deliveries.
We are therefore looking for drivers who are comfortable working with both types of routes and who can manage their time effectively throughout the day.
£13.00 per hour PAYE
Monday to Friday
7:00am start - finish
Holiday acrual with every shift
Weekly pay while working through Driver Hire
Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate
Main Duties
Complete deliveries efficiently and within the required timeframes
Ensure goods are delivered safely and securely
Take goods into customer premises and obtain signatures for deliveries
Complete supplier collections as required
Carry out daily vehicle checks
Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe and roadworthy & report any vehicle defects or issues promptly
Maintain a polite and professional manner when dealing with customers
