A leading food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their established technical team at their Bridgwater site.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality, Technical or QA professional looking to take ownership of quality management systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, operations and technical teams, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring compliance, coordinating audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Produce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs
- Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
- Support continuous improvement projects across the siteBuild strong relationships with internal departments, customers and suppliers
- Promote quality awareness and best practice throughout the busines
The Candidate
- Previous experience within a Technical, Quality or QA role
- Experience working within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards
- Internal and external audit experience desirable
Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:00 / 08:00 - 16:00
