G4S Facilities Management are looking for a dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer (HVAC Bias) for a full-time, permanent position.

This is a distinctive opportunity to join our team at Hinkley Point C, located in Bridgwater.

We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced individual to work on a mobile basis, across a range of sites to maintain and repair assets, building fabric, services and estate.

We are searching for a candidate with experience of building and facilities maintenance, and a high level specialism such as Air Conditioning.

  • Core Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and close out all PPM, reactive tasks, and refurbishments within agreed client SLAs using the CAFM system.
  • Monitor daily site operations, log reactive work, and extend tasks proactively to prevent contract deductions.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair complex commercial heating, mechanical, electrical, ventilation, and security assets.
  • Lead estate engineers, technicians, and contractors on site, ensuring work aligns with technical drawings and operational manuals.
  • Maintain overall estate assets, internal/external fixtures, grounds, and physical building fabric.
  • Safely resolve asset breakdowns and participate in the team's emergency call-out rota.
  • Work collaboratively alongside semi-skilled and skilled maintenance staff to foster cross-skilling across the team.
  • Maintain technical reports, assist with procedural documentation, and ensure safe usage of all tools and equipment.
