SALARY BAND: £20.00 - £24.00 per hour
LOCATION: Somerset area including Bridgwater
Multi-trade required to join projects over the Somerset including Bridgwater and Dorset region with an office based in Yeovil.
Travel expected up to 1 hr.
The working hours are 07:30-17:00 Monday to Friday.
There will be a 12 week probation period on a temporary contract with the offer to go on permanently for the right person.
Role & Responsibilities
The work will involve a variety of second fix tasks, including fitting small kitchens and bathrooms, installing skirting boards, putting locks on doors, and fitting splashbacks. The works include the repairs of various UPVC doors, windows, kitchens, repairs and installations and general maintenance to ensure functionality.
Social Housing experience is essential as you will be working in tenanted properties on general repairs maintenance.
Basic plumbing, tiling & patch plastering, floor laying, mould and damp treatment is desirable. Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively, always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes following exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards. NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery, Full UK driving licence is required. The role will also require a DBS check to be completed.
Once you have completed your assignment and Daniel Owen have secured a positive finishing reference, we will do our best to ensure you have another long‑term assignment to go into.
The site is accessible by public transport and parking is available.

- Proven experience as a Carpenter with second fix skills
- Valid CSCS card
- Full set of tools and PPE
- References for similar work in a residential setting
