Senior Logistics & Freight Coordinator to join a growing business based in Bridgend.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to manage international freight operations across air, sea and road, while taking on additional responsibility for team support, operational improvements and customer service.
You’ll manage shipments from start to finish, coordinate customs clearance and documentation, negotiate with freight partners and ensure international deliveries run smoothly.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll also have the opportunity to mentor colleagues, improve processes and progress towards a management position.
What We Offer
£45,000-£49,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday working pattern with flexible hours.
30 days' annual leave, increasing to 38 days with length of service.

- Key Duties
- Manage international freight shipments across air, sea and road.
- Coordinate customs clearance, import/export documentation and Incoterms.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers, freight partners and suppliers.
- Monitor shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
- Resolve freight and logistics issues to ensure deliveries are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate shipment and customs records.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
- Support, mentor and develop members of the operations team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and freight partners.
Requirements
- Proven experience within freight forwarding or international logistics.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, VAT and international trade regulations.
- Experience managing end-to-end international shipments across multiple transport modes.
- Good understanding of import/export documentation and Incoterms.
- Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Leadership potential and a genuine ambition to progress into management.
