- Help position, lift, and secure curtain wall units.
- Assist with the installation of structural glass, face caps, gaskets, and integrated aluminium windows and doors.
- Work closely with the primary fixer to ensure components are installed safely and accurately.
- Safely load, unload, move, and store fragile glass and heavy metal framing components on-site.
- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during transportation, installation, and storage.
- Assist with the safe movement of materials using appropriate lifting equipment.
Tool & Equipment Support
- Prepare, check, and hand over hand tools and power tools to the primary fixer.
- Assist with anchors, brackets, fixings, and other installation components.
- Help prepare and use lifting equipment safely and correctly.
Site Safety
- Follow strict health and safety procedures at all times.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with establishing and maintaining safe working areas.
- Support safe working at height using scaffolding, mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), and other access equipment.
