We are currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants to join our growing agency team in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate and dedicated care professionals seeking flexible work across a variety of settings, including care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care and support to service users
- Assist with moving and handling in accordance with care plans and health and safety guidelines
- Administer medication safely and in line with company policies and procedures
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record residents’ wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while following individual care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ UK-based care experience
- Previous experience with moving and handling
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals
- Right to work in the UK
