Your new opportunity At Countryview Short Breaks Service, we provide high-quality short breaks for children and young people with disabilities, creating a space where they can relax, have fun, build independence and spend time with others. Our service is more than just a place to stay - it’s somewhere children build familiarity, confidence and positive memories. Many return again and again, forming relationships and enjoying their time in a safe, homely and supportive environment.

As a Nightshift Intensive Support Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in making this experience consistent and reassuring through the night - ensuring children feel safe, settled and supported. Working three nightshifts over a 7-day rota, you’ll provide person-centred overnight support to children and young people with a range of complex needs. We are offering part time contracts 22 or 33 hours per week. Paying an hourly enhanced rate of £16 between midnight and 7am. Hourly day rate is £15.02 per hour.

  • Creating a warm, calm and homely environment overnight
  • Supporting children with medical, personal care and wellbeing needs
  • Responding sensitively to anxieties or distressed behaviours during the night
  • Monitoring wellbeing and promoting rest and comfort
  • Recording information clearly and respectfully
