This is a rare opportunity to lead a specialist service that provides meaningful short breaks for adults with disabilities while offering invaluable support to families and carers.

Set within the unique community of Quarriers Village, Riverview gives people the chance to enjoy new experiences, build confidence, develop independence, and create lasting memories in a safe and welcoming environment.

More About the Role

As Project Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support and positive outcomes for the people who use it.

Working closely with the people we support, their families, and your team, you will help create enriching experiences while driving continuous improvement across the service.

You'll lead and develop a dedicated staff team, manage service performance and budgets, and ensure Riverview continues to provide outstanding support in a setting that is truly unique.

This is a

37 hours per week, 5 days over 7 , with participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota .

  • What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Leading and managing the day-to-day operation of the service.
  • Supporting, coaching, and developing Team Leaders and frontline colleagues.
  • Promoting person-centred approaches that maximise independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion.
  • Building strong relationships with people we support, families, carers, professionals, and partner organisations.
  • Driving service improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ensuring the service is appropriately staffed and colleagues are supported to perform at their best.
  • Participating in the management on-call rota as required.
  • What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll have

  • A professional qualification in Social Care, Health, or a related field equivalent to

SVQ Level 4 or above.

  • A

Registered Managers Award , or the willingness and ability to achieve this qualification.

  • Experience managing and developing services within a social care or health setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and inspire teams.
  • Experience managing budgets and service resources effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory requirements, and person-centred practice.
  • Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality services that improve lives.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
