The Opportunity

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll continue to provide high-quality, person-centred support while taking on additional responsibilities to help lead and develop the team around you. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, leading by example, and wants to gain valuable leadership experience as part of their long-term career journey in health and social care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Overseeing medication and records
  • Reviewing risk assessments / support plans and providing direction to staff
  • Supporting individuals with autism in their daily lives, promoting independence and wellbeing
  • Assisting with personal care, daily routines, meal preparation, and household activities
  • Encouraging participation in social, recreational, educational, and community-based activities
  • Acting as a positive role model and supporting the development of less experienced team members
  • Helping to supervise, guide, and mentor Support Workers
  • Contributing to the creation and review of person-centred care plans
  • Working closely with families, professionals, and colleagues to achieve positive outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with Support Workers who are ready to progress as well as existing Senior Support Workers. You'll need:

  • Recognised Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or equivalent
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, or complex needs
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives
  • The confidence to support and motivate others within the team
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A positive attitude and desire to continue learning and developing
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and occasional nights
  • A full UK driving licence
