Berkshire Healthcare is seeking a proactive and innovative Financial Analyst - Costing & Reporting to join our Finance Team.
The role sits at the heart of our dedicated costing and reporting function.

This is permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri, 9-5), with flexibility around core hours. Your main base is Bracknell with ample opportunity for home working.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of costing and financial reporting processes, ensuring information isaccurate, timelyand supports effective decision-making across the Trust.
- Produce, analyseand present complex financial, costingand operational information from multiple data sources, translating technical outputs into meaningful insights for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Undertake detailed investigations into data anomalies, reporting issues and financial variances, identifyingrootcausesand recommending solutions to improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
- Build strong working relationships with operational managers to support effective use of data and reporting.
- Support the delivery of statutory and mandatory costing and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with national guidance and local reporting standards.
- Support service managers and finance colleagues to understand and use costing and reporting information to inform decision-making, serviceimprovementand performance management.
- Design and deliver training and guidance for report users, helping stakeholders confidently interpret and use complex information.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve processes, reducewasteand enhance the use of data to deliver best value and high-quality patient care.

- Highly specialist knowledgeacquiredthrough education to Masterslevel, trainingor equivalent experience, in a relevant specialty.
- Actively studying towards a CCAB Professional Qualification or equivalent Information Systems Experience.
- Significant experienceworking within a large and complex organisation in a finance, costing, reporting, business intelligence, informationor data analysis environment.
- Experience of developing, maintainingand improving reporting processes, systemsand information flows, ensuring data quality, accuracyand reliability.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate complex datasets, investigate anomalies, identifytrendsand provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience of presenting complex financial, costing or performance information in a clear and meaningful way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple disciplines, including operational services, finance, workforce, contractingand informatics teams.
- High levelof IT literacy with experience using finance systems, reporting tools and advanced analytical techniques.
