Child Missing Education Officer (part time 16 hours per week, Term Time Only)
Every child deserves to be seen, known and able to access education. We are looking for a motivated and determined Child Missing Education Officer to play a key role in identifying, locating and supporting children who are missing from education across Bracknell Forest.
At the heart of this role is a simple but important aim: to ensure children do not become lost from education and that their safety, wellbeing and right to learn remain firmly in view.
If you want a role where your persistence, curiosity and relationship-building skills can make a real difference to children’s lives, this could be the opportunity for you. You will investigate cases where children may not have suitable education provision in place, working with schools, families, other local authorities and partner agencies to understand individual circumstances and secure the right educational pathway.
