An excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated, committed, adaptable individual with an interest in working in Pharmacy. There is also a requirement to complete the NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services. You must possess good communication skills, be flexible, committed, and be a good team player.

We have ambitious plans to develop our sites, making even better use of our combined resources to serve our population most effectively. We are located within an area of amazing beauty which includes opportunities to drive, walk, run, swim or cycle in the New Forest, in the Purbecks, along miles of golden beaches and the Jurassic coastline.

You will be expected to participate in our weekend, bank holiday and late night rotas. Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital & Poole Hospital. Please note all staff being recruited are expected to be available to work flexibly across our new Trust sites when service demands require it.

After one year of hospital experience and on completion of NVQ 2, you will be eligible to move to a Band 3 Pharmacy Assistants post. This post may close early due to high numbers of applications, so you are advised to apply promptly. Please note we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.

UHD are investing in services across the Trust, with many being transformed and developed following merger and the New Hospital Programme. In some cases, this means that a service may move site this year or next, either temporarily or long term. If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
