A Vacancy at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. Bank University Hospitals Dorset is seeking friendly hardworking, reliable persons to support the Catering team across UHD to provide great customer service in our busy restaurants, coffee shops, kitchens and regen areas.

Duties in our restaurants / coffee areas will include:

  • Serving food, drinks and operating a till
  • Refilling of stock
  • General cleaning duties

In our kitchens and regen areas you will support in preparing and delivering food to the wards across the hospitals and support with cleaning, pot wash and maintaining hygiene standards.

Positions Available over both Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals.

Please note we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.

As a member of the catering team, you'll be responsible for providing an efficient, high-quality service to staff, patients and visitors, operating in compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures.

UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.

If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
