The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an ongoing Class 2 Flatbed Driver to join our client based in the BL2 area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work with an early start and no weekend shifts.
The Role
- Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
- Multi-drop deliveries of steel, pipes and fittings
- Strapping and securing loads safely and correctly
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Dealing professionally with customers at delivery locations
- Working Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00
Requirements
- Full, valid Class 2 driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving a flatbed is preferred
- Experience with strapping and securing loads is essential
- Good knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
