We are seeking to appoint an Exams Manager who will be responsible for the administration and organisational arrangements for examinations and for the timely submission of entries to the exam boards.
We strongly believe in allowing our staff to carry out their role to a high standard, whilst having a genuine work life balance which is why our full-time admin staff have the option of a compressed working pattern which offers a non-working day once a fortnight outside of the examination periods.
The successful candidate will line manage a small team of casual Exam Invigilators. There will also be a requirement to learn cover and the procedures for covering absent teachers as a backup for staff absences within the HR department.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with:
- Experience of using SIMS / Arbor or a large information management system
- An attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly outgoing manner
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A knowledge of cloud-based systems such as Office 365 and Google Workspace
- Previous experience of working in a school or educational establishment would be an advantage.
