Come and join our fantastic Eating Disorder Service! This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in community Eating Disorders. You will be supported by a highly experienced Psychologist and other members of the team. We are a community based service, supporting people to deal with the impact of an eating disorder (ED). The Bolton team is developing and works closely with the local area and the wider Cheshire and Wirral Partnership locality.
On-going continuing professional development is not only supported but encouraged with practitioners supported to develop their own interests within eating disorders. This post is part time 15 hours per week.
To provide psychological interventions to people who have an ED. The post involves working in the community and will require occasional travel across all sites. We are looking for a confident, friendly individual who has experience of working with people with an ED or a passion to work with this client group and the drive to support them in managing their difficulties. You will be required to provide psychological assessment and interventions.
The successful candidate will have experience in working within a multidisciplinary setting. They will have experience in delivering individual therapy that is adapted to the needs of people with an ED, and helping non-psychology team members work with people who have experienced an ED through consultation and joint working.
The role involves blended working, including face to face sessions, remote sessions via telephone and video.
