The Role:
We are seeking skilled, proactive and enthusiastic Casual Technical Assistants to join our team. This role supports the successful delivery of a diverse programme of performances and events. As a Casual Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of venue equipment, along with setup and breakdown of events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of room and stage setups, excellent problem-solving skills and a basic understanding of technical equipment.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have some experience in theatrical sound and lighting, as well as experience in get ins and outs for productions and events, with a strong understanding of the basics of theatre practices. You will possess excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to work effectively with colleagues, visiting companies and clients to drive a varied programme of events and productions, including our yearly pantomimes. You will be able to prioritise workloads, solve problems under pressure and contribute to the successful delivery of a varied programme of events. Above all, you will be passionate about live events, committed to delivering high-quality experiences, and flexible in your approach to supporting the needs of a busy and dynamic venue.
The Albert Halls is a busy and dynamic entertainment venue, hosting a range of performances and events throughout the year. As part of a multi-skilled technical team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of productions and events.
