You'll be the first point of contact for apprenticeship enquiries, providing advice and guidance to employees, managers, schools, training providers and external organisations. This varied role will give you the opportunity to coordinate and support apprenticeship programmes across the Council and provide high-quality customer service and guidance on apprenticeship pathways and opportunities.
You will maintain and develop apprenticeship information on the Council's website, intranet and digital platforms and manage apprenticeship records and data, producing reports and performance information to support workforce planning and decision-making. The role will require support at careers events, job fairs as well as engagement activities with schools, colleges and community partners. It will also require research into apprenticeship standards, funding opportunities and labour market trends to help shape the Council's skills agenda.

You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively as well as experience in maintaining accurate records, analysing information and producing reports. You should be confident in using Microsoft Office and digital systems and have a collaborative approach as well as the ability to work independently using your own initiative.
